Global Warming Is Getting More Serious, Fatima Orozco, 4/29/08, Per. 2, What is Global Warming?, -Global Warming is the drastic increase of the average temperature in Earth’s near-surface air and oceans. This has been occurring since the mid-twentieth century and is apearantly getting more severe., What caused Global Warming?, -Due to the external forcing, solar cycle variations, changes in solar luminosity, volcanic eruptions, and atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations., -Human activites also play a big role in the development of Global Warming. Such as us exposing excessive amounts of greenhouse gases. Greenhouse Gases like carbon dioxide, gather in the atmosphere and trap heat that really is only suppose to be in space. Driving cars, using electricity from coal-fired power plants, and warming up our house with oils or natural gas we end up exposing carbon dioxide to the atmosphere., -Deforestation is another big role that is causing Global Warming. Deforestation is, What does Global Warming do?, -It is predicted to one day boil us to death.
